Hi All! It's a beautiful morning!

Been flying but not posting recently, but OH has said I'm not to do to much today coz I've a evil nasty cough that doesn't want to to go...grrrr, I never knew coughing could hurt so many parts of your body. Of course he never defines the concept of too much, so I just do what I want:p! Anyways I thought if I made today a posting day then I'd have to sit and stop a bit.

Pigpen, your daughter looks fabulous!
Hollyh, you must have a comfy sofa. The arms on ours are square, makes them wide for arm resting, but no good for sleeping!
FFP, No one with your range of smilies could describe their life as boring!

Right first load of washing needs to go out, and the pots need doing. HHC 8.20 til 8.50 methinks

hospital worried about fil's loss of weight - he's back on Tues for biopsy results.

much flying to do this morning - sis is threatening to visit! we never know until the last minute....

Morning all. I'm still alive just v. busy and v. stressed!

Today is DS's 30th birthday barbecue. DD was going to help with preparations but she went out last night and hasn't come back yet. I'm slightly worried -sent her an are you ok? text but no reply as yet.

We get two more chicks today. They are only a day or so old so we are borrowing the brooder they are in and they will stay there until they're a week old. That'll be four which is just enough.

Right, better go boil some jersey royals to make potato salad...

Piggers - she looks fabulous - you must be one proud mummy! My daughters are really envious and want a dress like that for their prom!

PS. Glad to see that it's not just my kids who think it's fine to go outside in their white school socks:rotfl:

Tell them to start saving up.. it was almost £400 just for the dress!!!! then there are shoes, hair, nails, eyebrows, bag, corsage (which she thought was a wonderful surprise and loved the fact only she had one!!!) and the tiara.. and the ticket..

I gave up fretting about socks years ago.. end of August they all get bagged up for nursery and to go back to school they get 30 new pairs each.. each child having their own style so there is no mixing up!

KH is on about taking them away for a few days at the end of August so I am sorting all their underwear then.. it'll all be long gone by the time they get back..

I got to bed after 2am and have been up since 7 with heartburn and a naughty baby kicking me to death!!

Off to hang out laundry before I disturb OH any more than I already have.

I have been moaned a because I said I was not going to cemetary to inter my uncles ashes.. I honestly don't see the need.. and it would be too much walking and standing and I can't do it in this heat.. especially with the getting upset all over again and distressing the baby and myself.. I don't need to put us through that. I said I will go for dinner with my mother and sisters afterwards though.. I can do food.. mostly..

Morning All

I've had a very busy few weeks running up and down to the hospital with DS and working. I've got loads to do today so I really need to make a start. On the up side I have no ironing apart from the washing I'm doing at the moment.

Sexy - sorry I missed your birthday - hope you had a good day.

change stinky nappy and dress DD2
load dw, unload wm and reload
try to reclaim the garden.

She came back about half an hour ago have stopped at the house of one of her girl friends. She is VERY hungover!

I had great delight switching on the Dyson and vacuuming the hallway just after she retired to her room

WM is on last load, the rest is all hung out

Loads of other more boring stuff done

Car washing
Car hoovering
50th Birthday day party next door to gate crash tonight, with permission of the wife! :beer:
