I thought etap rooms could accommodate 3 people. I've just searched for a room for 16th July for 2 adults and 1 child and it offered a room.

ive stayed in etap and it had 3 beds :p

We stayed at the Marriott Hotel, just outside Portsmouth. Lovely big rooms that could sleep 4. Leisure club also. Depends on your budget though. Although they do some good deals if you travel with kids - free meals etc. Worth a try!
