Boots are great for presents - check out their reduced shelves. I have got bath soaks, posh body creams etc for as little as 25p each!
A tip for next year, start buying presents for next xmas in the January sales. I have most of my presents sorted for this xmas - I got them from Boots early this year :j2012 wins approx £11,000 including 5k to spend on a holiday :j0 -
Also try Next Clearance if you have a shop near you - they often have things for less that £5 and they stock jewellery. Sainsbury's sell nice Jewellery for under £5 in the sale too but I'm not sure they'll have another sale before christmas.
Dont panic if you do leave some of the pressie buying to the last minute because I notice that alot of the high st stores start their sales a in the week before christmas. I got loads of stuff for about £5 from Claires Accessories in the final week last year and even ended up taking back some of the more expensive presents that I'd already bought because the stuff that I got from Claires was nicer!!!0 -
Hello,
I have already done most of my christmas shopping (it's wrapped too) and here are some of the bargains I have had for under £5.
3 Hair Care items reduced from £16 to £4.80 in Debenhams Blue Cross sale.
T-shirt reduced from £16 to £5 in Burtons
Mirror reduced from £19.99 to £3 in Woolworths (Friend just got new house and needs one).
Robbie Williams Album (Intensive Care) £3.99 @ Play.com
DVD Trivial Pursuit game (music and tv questions I think) reduced from £20 to £4.99 @ Argos.
I would also suggest having a look at bookgiant.co.uk as they have some fantastic bargains, for example, I have just order a book about the Ashes Victory in 2005 for £3.99 reduced from around £16. It is a club but the only requirement is that you buy one more book within 6 months of joining but I haven't found that a problem as they have very good deals on.
Hope this helps.

La Senza has a special at mo 5 knickers for £5. I bought 5-kept a few pairs for myself and a couple of pairs as a xmas pressie for daughter. Best thing is the packaging, comes free in gift box, tissue wrapped with sticker and gift card that free of charge you can pit message on-Bargain-just carefully open the tissue so you can take out anything for yourself and then rewarp- a cheap but beautiful present.
Also bought a soap making kit and bath ball kit total cost approx £20-makes 30 bath balls and lots of fancy soaps. Going to making some fancy wrapped gift baskets.
I'm also collecting all free beauty products and making beauty hampers.
I've got for £10 the cars duvet set which is £21.99 but used as voucher from LX direct.
Got 3 duvet sets (1 for me) and 2 for gifts absolutely free from Empire stores using £20 code from on here.
Got £160 Nike trainers for daughter for £5 from M & M sports as suggested in lnk on here.
I'm also going to bake biscuits and put in nice tins.
Buy 1-2 extra special things each week from supermarket and make xmas hampers.
:j
have you tried freestuff.co.uk for your free beauty products? I have had some really nice moisturisers and perfumes from there - loads of other freebies as well0
