I was not 'speaking crap', I was going on my own personal experience. I know full well that they did not search me - who are you to dispute what I know what happened in my circumstance?
I have to agree with you here, when NID left although I have not had a great deal to do with him, I had learnt an awful lot from the massive input he had on this forum and was sad to see him go, I contributed to the various threads back then saying as much
I have to say though reading through some of the posts NID has made here I wish I had not bothered now, since you have come back there has been an element of agression and nastiness in your threads, and as you said yourself above something along the lines of "wanting to wind people up" why? why would you act in such a way? Is this just a shallow plot to get people to sign upto your own forum? If so your going about it all the wrong way. It is sad to see you have evolved this way very sad indeed
Back on topic, you may have not been fully scored but what NID was trying to explain is some lenders banks included have a monthly feed into the credit agencies whereby they update them on your files and what is going on without anything ever being recorded, so although your bank will have used an internal score as "part" of their decision they will have also known what you have and have not paid etc from the "feed" they get from the CRA's.
Hope that makes sense, funnily enough this was something I learnt from one of NID's other posts back when he was nice and helpful
Come back NID the way you were, I am sure you will be welcomed with open arms but if you are staying with your current attitude it may be better for everyone concerned if you go away again"You can measure a man's character by the choices he makes under pressure"Sir Winston Churchill0 -

Indeed. I read back through a few pages and have been staggered by the amount of absolute crap written which bares no relevance to this thread.
What izools does with him/herself has nothing to do with anyone else, and frankly, it has gotten boring.UnderPressure wrote: »Back on topic, you may have not been fully scored but what NID was trying to explain is some lenders banks included have a monthly feed into the credit agencies whereby they update them on your files and what is going on without anything ever being recorded, so although your bank will have used an internal score as "part" of their decision they will have also known what you have and have not paid etc from the "feed" they get from the CRA's.
Yeah, I know. I think it was Sutton who posted below me, and I thanked him for that as I had missed that part out. To be fair I have not been on this thread in a long time as I am no longer subprime, but just looked in and saw a question I could answer.
I was not meaning all banks in general, but Lloyds TSB did NOT credit search me for my overdraft OR credit card (my credit card turned up in my preapproved offers). They may well have been getting monthly feeds from Experian, but it still does not make my post 'crap' as what I said was valid.
Lloyds only credit searched me when I applied for my original current account.
I do not know how other banks operate, but the poster asked a question about Lloyds TSB overdrafts and I have experience of this, so answered.0 -

What's the point of your post?
Look i ain't starting an arguement with ya,you just stated that you are not sub-prime anymore so you don't visit this thread much, the point i am trying to make is maybe your knowledge of having been sub-prime might be useful on this thread still.0 -

Well that's what I thought as well.
I was helped a lot on this forum when I had some adverse on my report, and now I have 'graduated' out of it, I wanted to give some help back.
Though to be fair this thread seems to have moved away from its original purpose of helping people who are sub prime, to actually ridiculing them.
Someone who actually wants help, risks their thread getting lost in a tirade of rubbish going back and forth between some members, which is sad.0 -
In fairness there is only a few people on "Milfords" forum.
So with the above said it's not the greatest of comparisons.
Ps if it's that great .......... Why are you here?
Yea, its a week old and has 150 members! There never was meant to be a comparison, the main difference being you will not get ridiculed over there for being in debt or whatever your position. The mods will have you off before you even click submit.
Point is, we run it - not like this place!
What is it with you and milford, you think it bothers me but it doesn't cos like I say he sounded a great guy lol. Keep it up, i'll change my username to it if it helps you sleep better at night? :rotfl:
Oh, she probably came here the same as you did - cos she is allowed to! Idiot2010 - year of the troll

Yea, see above - that's what too much abuse does to someone....
Is there any need for repeated abuse by the same user - I can ban IP address and proxy IP's so MSE can - BUT, do they?
No.
Ergo, Niddy get's p!ssed off - as you would. Jesus I sat and watched the muppet send PM's slagging of "cripples" as though it was me, do you think that is acceptable - anywhere? I don't and yea, it changed my perception of MSE.
I'm sorry you feel that way, you are however only seeing half the story. :cool:2010 - year of the troll
