Orange PAYG number porting

Yes you can! Just call up 450 from your Orange PAYG mobile handset and negotiate the relevant automated options to speak to a customer services representative. You need to ask them for a Porting Authority Code (PAC), which they will send you in letter form in a few days after checking some security questions with you. The call will cost you a one-off charge of 25p. You then need to give your new provider that PAC within 30 days (otherwise it will expire and you have to go through it all over again) and they should be able to port your number across so that you keep it with your new provider.
Hope that helps!0
