1st Negative & feel like crying!!!!!!

Hi please help !

My first negative & buyer sent me this message:
item i received was not as described it was all washed out and poisoned not fit to put on a baby only fit for dustbin you said it was in exellant condition and was only worn a couple of times more like a couple of thousand you are a disgrace to ebay

The item was in excellent condition & had only been worn few times! It was a gorgeous hand-smocked dress -

She messaged me before bidding had begun after a few days of listing offering me £5.00 for Buy it now - So agreed as wanted to sell it quickly but thought might get more, but she sounded nice so agreed- Now feel a fool

Shes trying it on I think but already left negative - So what can I do I messaged her to say sorry & offer refund but not heard back yet

sorry i can't offer any advice, but do you have there ebay user name?

we have loads of kids clothes for sale, and defo don't want her bidding on them

She already gave me postive - "Saying credit to ebay" then changed it to a negative!!

I dont know but think she must have won so can wear for a do today then ask for a refund - so she gets a free outfit - I dont know but does that happen??

Sorry but there's nothing that you can do. In a couple of days calmly write a response to the feedback. Acouple more sales & it will have gone down the page, the way you respond to her will have more effect, so don't do it while upset. If she opns a case you can say that you offered a full refund, only refund if she sends it back & unless your refund policy says otherwise don't refund postage.
Don't let a chancer spoil your day.

So unsure what her angle is ?

Tracked her down and blocked her - won't be buying any of the baby stuff I have listed! Not the first time she's negged looking at her record. Don't let it get you down, a professional response to a silly neg is often a better sign of a good seller than 100% feedback.

OMG, I never knew a buyer coul change their feedback once it had been left!!

Its odd that shes has already left feedback without giving you an option of sorting it out first, why would she think a seller would be motivated to refund after recieving a neg anyway?

Some ebayers shock me, with such low feedback, even three negs/neutrals seems a high proportion to me really, they are new and appear very inexperienced as to how ebay works.
