How do you Unlock an Ericsson t28?

It's an ancient mariner but I like it! Currently on o2 and can be used on vodafone. I'd like to use it on virgin... Any help gratefully received,

i think you will have to get it done at a shop(eg. my se k700i) as i dont think there are any free codes for that phone

What type of T28 is it? If T28world then it won't work on Virgin anyway - doesn't work on the frequency used by Virgin (Tmobile) or Orange. If it works on Voda and O2 it it probably already unlocked.
For unlocking you need a cable to plug into your PC - can but on ebay or get someone to do it for you

It's a normal t28 and was partially unlocked (under duress!) by the company that provided the phone (it's an old company phone) but it still won't work on Virgin... Thanks though for the replies and sorry about the double post...

look under the battery or i think at the bootom of the phone, it will say either t28s or t28world.

t28world: gsm 900/1900
t28s : gsm 900/1800

also its not possible to partially unlock a phone, its either locked of unlocked.
