    Supersparkey:

I have had problems similar to you.I'll explain.

    Phoneline & Broadband:
    For thirdline,see BT Openreach.
Often 1st & 2nd line dont have access to BT's reporting systems so the notes about the pole would'nt have reached BT. (I used to work in all three of Sky's broadband fault lines)

Access to BBand & Mobile account:

I've been on O2 broadband since Oct 09 & originally P&G since gawd knows. Was having no problems.Changed to Simplicity 30day £10 a month tarrif.I lost my broadband discount every month & had to phone up to get it put back on every month. My account was saying "The is no mobile number linked...."

Ditched Simplicity after 2 months as it was costing me far more than £10 a month even tho my usage was less than p&g.Changecd number as well.(O2 actually cut me off as I was disputing the bill & could'nt access my bills for my mobile, despite xxx number of calls to O2)

From then on,I was up until last Sunday, unable to access BBand account nor had I recived any bills from O2 NOR had they taken any payments from my account.
Thanks to Ewan in billing,it turns out my whole account was linked now to a Mr Derick ******,someone I had never heard of although I had gotten a few calls from someone in a call center asking for him.
I went thru my details with Ewan & corrected them & I can now access my account's for phone & BBand for the first time since January!

I called back & after speaking to Tracy, again in Billing,it appears I have been overcharged every month for my BBand,£12.50 instead of £10.50 (or £7.50 with discount)
She checked all my bills & added on the overpayments, meaning my next bill will be £1.50.

The O2 rep here on MSE,Abhishek, confirmed all this for me in a series of E-Mails on Monday.

    Your Mobile:

I work (although I'm leaving this week) for O2 selling Simplicity. All the tarrifs changed about Feburary when the offer you were on stopped. Now the dept I worked for was all outbound & we were unable to add credit ect to someones account,we did'nt have access to it.The way it works is any credit you have on your p&g mobile gets added to your second bill.
What many people dont know is that you have a 'savings account' on your p&g line.Every month,O2 squirrel away handset discount & calltime credit for the customer.I have seen people with over £150 calltime discount. This is credited to your Simplicity account in the 4th month,as is other discounts. They do it in the 4th month to ensure you dont leave within the first three.
