help.. netbook got a virus and wont even boot up

You can start with creating Hiren's Boot CD/USB Drive.

Go to this page for instructions. Don't click on anything on the page other than the pictures if necessary, as I will provide the links here.

USB Disk Storage Format
grub4dos.zip
Hiren's BootCD 10.5

You'll need to un-zip the contents of each download before proceeding with the creation of the bootable USB drive.

hi, not had much success i am afraid. can`t even open the files as it says its restricted...

How it works is that you take it step by step and ask when you get stuck on a particular step.

but i cant open the files as it says permission denied unless administrator.. and i am the administrator.
any ideas??
as you can probably guess i am not a techie..lol

Have you downloaded and saved all of the files? Step by step...remember? You need to describe the steps you have taken, in order for us to understand where may have made a mistake.
