They have mimicked the wording of Council PCNs.
One may read this as 'passing off' and report it to Trading Standards, they are fairly clued up in the midlands.
I would wait for the inevitable flurry of letters and build up a case file of evidence.
In the meantime some reading may be useful http://www.statutelaw.gov.uk/legResults.aspx?LegType=All+Legislation&title=The+Consumer+Protection+from+Unfair+Trading+Regulations&Year=2008&searchEnacted=0&extentMatchOnly=0&confersPower=0&blanketAmendment=0&TYPE=QS&NavFrom=0&activeTextDocId=3480871&PageNumber=1&SortAlpha=0
Thanks for that, I shall keep every one of the letters they send!
I cant see how these companies are even allowed to operate!!0 -

Brilliant!!! Thanks! :j0 -
UKPC are probably not doing anything illegal, but if people are stupid enough to fall for the spiel and send them some money, well, that's how they make a living. Don't pay and spread the word to as many others as you can. I have never yet, had an invoice, but am expecting one soon from Parking Eye. A year or two ago I might have fallen for the speil and paid them. But as a result of joining MSE I am immune to their demands. You should be as well.I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.0 -

Good for you! Please spread the word to all your family, friends, colleagues etc about this scam. The more people who know, the sooner these parasites will be out of business.0
