That scorpioangels post seems too much like the spammer that was on here the other week posting all over the boards. I'm sure they had wrote something very similar.

Ignore them sweetie, they have nowt better to do than to just try and cause an argument on here. And as for being indicators of an obsessive disorder...they are obviously obsessed themselves with the affairs of others on here.
Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!

Well, I don't like to get involved but I also think that you should just skip those competitions that you don't want to enter, 'obsessive disorder'?? I think this can apply to anything e.g cleanliness obsession or money-saving obsession :o lol ..

Actually I found this definition for you,

"The primary symptoms of OCPD (Obssessive Compulsive Personality Disorder) are a preoccupation with details, rules, lists, order, organization, and schedules; being very rigid and inflexible in their beliefs; showing perfectionism that interferes with completing a task; excessive focus on being productive with their time; being very conscientious; having inflexible morality, ethics, or values; hoarding items that may no longer have value; and a reluctance to trust a work assignment or task to someone else for fear that their standards will not be met."

We better keep Darren happy :eek::eek:

    Hi Matryoska

Ive only won once from Forecourt Trader (had 12 petrol cans delivered at the house lol!). I always enter these AIOE.

    HTH!

Shame the few seem to not understand what this thread is about. I enter the odd text comps but not that many, tends to be for things that I really want, but will be trying to win a nice holiday for next year!!!

I really appreciate all the time and effort that everyone puts on here.

never done forecourt trader aioe before but am sure someone asked before, cant remember what the answer was to that one

sorry for saying:o but can we try and keep this thread to comps only, it does say on the first post to keep chat to a mininum, there are quite a lot of people who dont post on here and come in only for the comps, so its a lot to go through if there is a lot of chat, if it relates to a comp then thats fair enough, but anything else should really be discussed in the discussion thread

hi jumbo, have you posted (or searched to see if anyone else has and then posted) this on mainboard as well since there is an email entry? if you could do this and add a link to the post on main into your posts here with the postal entry details this would be very helpful so we can check our thanks and make sure we dont enter the same comp twice.

    thanks for posting.

edit: isnt this the weekly one that follows on form previous comps that is always posted on main board and the lats few weeks we have all been being told we have already entered when we try to enter via the website?

    Heart Ipswich

Listen out for his 'Fill in the Blank’ competition, each afternoon he'll be playing a short clip of a party song with a word replace by a circus noise. If you think you know the missing word then be ready for the cue to text the word 'SUFFOLK' to 82122.

Paul will select one entry each day to call back and if they get the missing word right they win a family ticket (for two adults and two children under 16) to the Moscow State Circus while they are in Ipswich this week.

    Hello. Welcome to the forums.
Text comps certainly can be worthwhile! I've won quite a few things from text competitions - the best was £1000 worth of kitchen equipment - and I know others here have too. There tend to be fewer entrants for the £1.50 text comps, simply because the cost can soon add up.
Many people here use a Pay as you go mobile just for comps, as that way they can set themselves a budget and top up only that amount. I have a contract phone and it's all too easy to run up quite a bill by entering all the text comps I fancy, so I restrict myself nowadays to only entering text comps which cost 50p or less. It's all down to personal choice, really, but yes, they do produce winners. :D

If you have any other questions, head over to the Competitions Discussion thread here.
