These comments remind me of how my family used to tease me about the amount of money I was 'wasting' on stamps.... and then I won a £3,500 five star all inclusive holiday to Barbados - from a postcard comp - and suddenly all that expense on stamps seemed like very good value for money indeed! Keep going - it definitely pays off in the end! xx

As we are nearing the end of this thread, I am unashamedly bumping to say a few words :eek:

A huge, huge thank you to everyone who contributes, one way or another, to this fabulous thread. Yes, we may spend a fair bit on stamps and texts so not truly money saving, but I for one love this little corner of MSE and long may it stay hidden from the rest of the purist, non spending compers

The people on her mean the world to me and keep me sane.

Well done to all the winners, I don't tend to congratulate personally on the thread but always press the thanks button to show I have read them and to say well done that way.

PPD gets a special mention for keeping everyone and everything in check, you do a wonderful job :A:T
