ok can i have some thoughts on these ideas for new thread?
list of mags that have entry form only comps
list of all current comps in the thread (main one i need thoughts on as this would be major work on my part but would save people scrolling through the whole thread and finding loads of closed comps, once the comp was closed then i would remove the link so only active comps would show, hope ive made that clear, i did the massive monthly thread so it can be done:rotfl:as we cant move closed comps to game over, this would remove the whole thread to game over
those that have email entry, postal/text details posted here so you have the option what way you want to enter
more questions and answers plus tips
let me know what you think either on here or via pm0 -
Hi pcl, there is nothing in t&c's that suggest otherwise but i'm sure I have done in the past too. In the mag it usually has the comps on different pages then on the last giveaways page it only suggests that the giveaways can all go AIOE. I generally post the others separate to the giveaways. Probably daft but I thought it might give more chance of winning.
Well done on your win Daphne! :j When you got the WTM asking you to reply with your details did you get a reply back afterwards saying ..'we'll text you back if you're a winner'....same as the reply you get when you enter the comp? I got this & wondering if they got my details now! Guess i'll just have to wait for 28 days!
Didn't get a reply wingo, I'm just gonna have to wait as well lol.A strong man stands up for himself, a stronger man stands up for others.0 -

I don't know if this is the type of thing your after, but a tip when doing postals is to write the end date where the stamp goes and put your entries in order of soonest closing. Then you can instantly see which need posting first if you're limited on stamps and if you need a first or second class.
Keeping a list of the entry form only mags is a great idea, I've subscribed to one for my DS because of the fab prizes on offer each issue and I think the extra cost is worth it.
(Well, Tesco is paying actually)
If you shop at Tesco always check the rewards page for mag subs as lots are on there and it makes them much cheaper.
Also check Quidco/Topcashback as you'll probably find a few can be bought through the companies they list.
I buy stamps from Vikingdirect as I can get cashback from the above but use a company name to do so. Not sure if you can get the cashback without it.
Can't think of anything else right now but will update if I do.
HTH
ETA: If you do subscribe I think it's much cheaper to do it by yearly DD, you can always cancel it once the subscription startsEvery little helps
