Are there any mobile SIM cards where the credit does not expire and they stay active without a monthly top up. Anyone know the best? Thank you.

My husband is a very light user on Vodafone. We very rarely top him up and have had no problems. Recently found out they're quite expensive though and would recommend having a look at giffgaff.

I use a T Mobile pay as you go and I think I only have to top up or make a call /text once every 6 months to keep it active.0

Their are none where the credit does not expire all of them normally require you to make a call / send a text every 180 days.Their is no requirement to top up regularly unless you want the inclusive add ons eg Free Texts.
For low useage.
Have a look at www.giffgaff.com owned by O2.
Or http://www.asdamobile.com/ operates on Voda Network.0 -
I also recommend giff gaff.
Giff-gaff to giff-gaff calls and texts are free; other texts are 4p and calls 8p/minute.0 -
GiffGaff for sure.If I helped or saved you money - Thank me
If I helped you spend some money - spank me
If I done both - :lipsrseal me:eek:0 -
Most of them require a chargeable activity/use at least once every 6 months. I think virgin may be once every 12 months though.0

part of it depends on who you call .On 3 for example 3 to 3 calls are free for 90 days from top up also they have free skype built into their phones . So if the people you call are all on 3 or skype your in .0

I would go on giffgaff too. Free internet, free on net calls, calls cross 8p texts 4p, free 0800 0500 calls. For topping up every three months. There are monthly add ons too from 5 for unlimited texts.0

It isn't necessary to top up every 3 months on giffgaff either, just use every 6 months like the others.
And the only thing conditional on doing so is free calls to other giffgaff users, not the rest of the list.
The free internet has been free for everyone and was a starting offer which will eventually end, but is just about to be extended slightly0
