I now know why watchers & no bidders

I watch loads of items for a coupple of reasons;
1. I want to buy, but wait to 'snipe' at the end of the auction.
2. I want to 'buy it now' but I need to wait until some of my stuff has sold for the funds to be available.
3. It's something I want to buy / sell in the future and I want to see how prices are.0 -
I looked on my bidders that have been blocked and it says one was blocked because its a country i don't ship to, but yet, they are registered in the UK,
Is this a line eBay just put out when they have blocked someone for something else or is something going wrong on my account?0 -

I wonder how many of those that you have all blocked would have turned out to be a gennuine bidder? Its like having a high street shop and only choosing to serve certain people that fit certain requirements, crazy really but hey ho each to their own
I know for certain that at least 1 of those was one of my competitors, who has been targetting me lately. In fact, it was because of him that I added the "must have a credit card registered" bit for feedback less than 5

Tis but one of many little mysteries that one.
We will now never know but I for one am fed up with all the timewasters on ebay, the idiots who bid for things with absolutely no intentions of actually paying. If I had a bricks & mortar shop I would be happy for people to look without buying but would prefer customers who at least had the intention & money to pay for something.0 -

I've just checked mine and found a dozen blocked bids in the last month from people with lots of unpaid item strikes and bidders in countries i won't ship to. All the years i've been using ebay and i never realised you could check on this list. Thanks OP

A high street shop that only sells to people with money, that actually pay for things and don't want a refund and to keep the goods as well?
How bizarre.0 -
Yet strangely, most of these Blocked Bidders have 100% feedback.....I wonder what their score would have been in the days when sellers were allowed to give a neg!....Never put off until tomorrow what you can avoid doing altogether.:D0

I can live with possibly missing a few genuine rulebreakers (minus scores), non description readers (countries that we don't shop to), oddbod oldtimers (no paypal account), and ditherers (non payers).UnderPressure wrote: »lost sales.....................................

I'm pretty sure that the high street shops who do sell on ebay also have their buyer requirements set up. :rotfl:This is my opinion. There are many others like it but this is mine:kisses2: Fiancee of the "lovely" DaveAshton :kisses2:I am a professional ebay seller. I work hard at my job, I love my job, if you think it's silly that's your problem not mine.

The requirement to be able to pay is a pretty big one in my book.
I guess your a seller with no buyer requirements set. Who then goes on to moan about NPB and why they cant leave Negative feedback for buyers then?
