I now know why watchers & no bidders

Having read an old thread that has just been resurrected, I have discovered how to check if any blocked bidders have tried bidding.
Yes they have, I don't know about :rotfl:, I have just laughed my little old socks off.
I take it these wannabe bidders get a message saying why their bids aren't accepted?
None of them have contacted me to ask for a block to be lifted.

Ha Ha, I have had 1 contact me before 'Why am I blocked?', I always set my buyer requirements quite tight.
I also think another reason is because they have 1 of what your selling, they watch to see what they could potentially get for theirs. I had 22 watchers on an item last week, only 8 bids from 6 bidders.
Will you share the secret to finding out if they have attempted to bid? lol0 -
I've often watched items I own, wondering how much mine might sell for prior to listing it myself.
I've NEVER watched items I want to bid on.0 -
I know why some people watch I have an extensive watch list but hadn't even thought that several would have tried to bid & I'd blocked them. I just found it quite amusing.
To check go to your seller account, site preferences, Buyer requirements, on there you have activity log & will show what items have had someone try to bid & why they were blocked. It's on for 60 days.0 -
...interesting....had 3 people from countries I don't allow trying to bid on one thing I had for sale!Ermutigung wirkt immer besser als Verurteilung.

Maybe this isnt available for me, I cant see anything past the buyer requirements, it just gives me all this block buyers list stuff.

Have you set any preferences? It will show you what your pref are & then underneath that is Buyer Requirements Activity Log, it's part of the same box. If nobody's tried to bid who's blocked maybe it doesn't come up?VanillaDelia wrote: »Maybe this isnt available for me, I cant see anything past the buyer requirements, it just gives me all this block buyers list stuff.
Ignore all this as you've found it.0 -

It's quite interesting isn't it to see how many have tried bidding. I also wondered why people stopped watching before the end, it looks as though they may have been the blocked ones.0

lost sales.....................................
I wonder how many of those that you have all blocked would have turned out to be a gennuine bidder? Its like having a high street shop and only choosing to serve certain people that fit certain requirements, crazy really but hey ho each to their own
