I was going for a NSD today (not counting the money at the post office to post Dad's iPod off to it's eBay buyer as that's Dad's money, not mine!) until MY spendy elves dragged me into the pub at lunchtime! Curse you elves! :D

    Went on Poppy Scotlands website.
If I had a free code from the Sun I could add free Christmas cards to my order.

    Money!

    PAD/Spends - £182.95
    Entertainment - £18.13
    Groceries - £79.45
    Purse - £
    Outstanding loan - £566.77

My plans for this weekend include listing some of my DVD box sets on Amazon. I have a lot of things that I just don't watch and it's a shame to have clutter in the house when it could be making me some money. I'll be sad to see some of them go (West Wing, Dr Who) but there's no point in keeping them if I don't watch them.

Does anyone know if there is another Ebay free listing day coming up soon? I need to get some things listed. I might copy and paste some stuff into Turbolister as and when I can be bothered and then list manually when the free listing comes around. I have so little left to pay off my loan but only 42 days until my birthday  which is around £13.50 to find each day. There are 20 days until payday and I know I don't have that much money lying around, so it's time to sell stuff!

I had a lovely night last night - my friend came round for dinner and we sat and made cards :D It's the first time she's done anything like that and her efforts were really good. I'm going to post them on my blog before work if I have time!

Happy Hump Day to all :j
  • Angelic - Mr Fresian is off to the Post Office today, so your cards should be with you soon. They've been sitting on my table for over a week now :o

    Hiya!

    They arrived this morning :T

They're really nice Flyin', so professional - OH thought you'd stamped the writing on them :D

I've put them away safely for xmas time - I know all 3 () sets of grandparents will be chuffed :D

I'd feel alot better though if you'd accept something for them though :(

I feel bad asking for money because I'm so new at making them though! You know my Hotmail address, if you want to send me anything to cover postage then feel free, but I was honestly happy to do them for you.

    Spends yesterday

    £7 - dinner
£3.50 - large glass of wine with dinner :D
    45p - packet of crisps

I got an email to say I had won another £10 with Walkers though, so I feel as though the crisps are free :rotfl:

    Money post

    PAD/Spends = £180
Entertainment = £18.13. I'm leaving the money in there for London next month
    Groceries = £79.45
    Outstanding loan =
    £563.82
    Outstanding credit card = £38.54
    Purse = £17.79

The parcel I was getting sent to the US has now arrived, so I won't be getting anything refunded. All PADs are now to the credit card for a week or so until it's cleared then it's back to working on the loan.

In excellent news, overtime has become available at work. In even more excellent news, it's at time and a half :j I'm doing two hours tonight and then spending quite a few hours working on Saturday too. I get (I think) about £11 per hour normally for overtime so that would be around £16.50 per hour before tax, and just in time for Christmas (or my exciting trip to London!!) too :D:D

Right, best get ready for work now. Have a good day all.

    Bad News:

Despite knowing that I would be out all night, nobody thought to buy bread. Spends on lunch/food = £3.55

    Good News:

Two hours overtime @ time and a half done today :D If I can get up early tomorrow then another hour will be in the bag.

One of my friends was collecting Lego from the Daily Record giveaway recently for me and dropped off a bag of it at the flat today - Ebay here I come!!

I've had a good day today really, although I'm now quite tired. Angelic - thanks for sending me pennies, it's appreciated! You'll be getting a card all of your own sometime next month too :D

Cards in this neck of the woods are getting kinda pricey if you don't want a 25p Tesco value one - a bog standard 'Happy Birthday' is about £1.70  and the cards that you sent are alot better quality.

I'd rather send someone a few pennies for a home-made card that effort has gone into than going to the paper shop to buy their crap :D

Can you tell I'm still really impressed?! :A
