It has to be MBE and tigs for such an entertaining and instructional thread, perhaps they could spend the money on ingredients for their next challenge
Chicken and Leek Pie Challenge0 -
I would like to nominate MortgageMamma for helping a dog in distress and taken the dog to the vets, she was at one time looking at pay the vets bills and having her car covered in blood, I no, poor thing. Thankfully after a long story tracing the owner the dog is fine and owner traced. Well done being a good Samaritan in this post
Please see that thread its a long story but a heart-warming one, her dedication and care for a sick animal is very compassionate of her, she truely is a wonderful person.0 -

I too would like to nominate MortgageMamma for he extreme kind heartedness in rescuing an injured dog from the side of the road and spending time, effort and money in getting it treatment even when it seemed no-one could be bothered ti help.
She was even ready to pay £500+ vets bills out of her own pocket to get the dog well again, great story and someone that kind deserves post of the month!!!
(I was almost in tears reading the thread - there are some good people left in the world!!!)

I nominate MrBadExample and Tigs78 for the wonderful chicken ham and leek pie cooking competition thread:
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=269603
Sometimes doing things oldsytle is hard bloody work, and we all need a bit of light relief and encoragement from time to time. These two people, neither of them renowned for their cooking skill, decided to do a cook-off competition.
As well as doing this, they posted pictures during the cooking process, asked for tips, etc. It was great fun, and pulled in a lot of viewers. It was honestly better than watching TV.
They were both very sporting, very good fun, and very inspiring.
They definitely deserve the prize0 -
Really think that Emily should win for the £1024 in 11 weeks challenge.
