Just a thought on this, do you have a valid will? If not your ex-husband who isn't actually your ex-husband could have a claim on whatever you may leave.
Not quite right - if you do not have a valid will, your ex who is not an ex WILL inherit any hjoint property and the first £250K of any other assets (England and Wales).
In one case I knew the husband decided to divorce his wife, who was furious and offended. The nisi was issued and it was one week before the absolute could be granted. Hubby died and she inherited the lot.If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -
tbh I have absolutly nothing to leave and won't be coming into any money as my family don't have any.....if I die I'm happy for him to get what ever I leave. He is the father of my 2 children and I know he would make sure they are ok so that's all thats important to me.0
