I had to do 4 role plays of different scenarios...and I was convinced I'd talked too fast through them all.

I think I was in shock when the phone rang & the guy on the other end was the guy who played the other side of the role play, and then he said he was the branch manager and that I had the job

I think part of me still doesnt quite believe it!!

    Well done Lizzie!
I did bootcamp first thing-lots of running in the heat-phew! Then mate and I hopped off to wholesale florist for flowers for sats ball. They wanted £8 for 10 roses-!!!!!! they're cheaper at Tesco! So,we bought all the oddball stuff,£150,and went on a wild goose chase round town for white roses.Between Tesco,Sainsbury and Asda they could only muster 4 lousy bunches,so we have a small panic going on and need to source about 80 white roses first thing tomorrow.....

BF has decided to go back on chemo again, but was told by her onc that she must start preparing her children for the loss of their mother...what a bedside manner...!

  • SRM, sorry to hear about your friend. That's shocking what the DR said, I know they have to prepare people for the worst but that's overkill!

Elfen, I've got the game on in the background and go JAPAN!

I've just done a nose strip thing and urgh! As a little treat in duty free I got some clinique stuff and WOW I'm in love with how soft it's making my skin.

srm, that's really mean what the doctor said to your friend....you'd thought he'd have had more tact. Can she complain to anyone about it?
BB, I'm trying to work out how you're losing so much weight (i.e. I want the secret to it lol\)

You get the impression that some Dr's have never had bad news delivered to them, whatever happened to positive thinking. Why can't she prepare them for all scenario's including the one that she may go on for a while yet.
