New Phone on contract HELP.
I recently got a phone on contract whihc is all new to me and, once it was activated and all the doo dah, i made a call and then checked my minutes just too see if everything was working.
It said i only had 29 minutes left which was wrong because the tarriff i have purchased is 500 mins unlimited texts, it didnt say nothing about a text bundle either, but i have been texting amnd checked the outstanding balance and that is zero, so I think that part is okay.
Can anyone tell me whats going on.
Im on orange if that helps.
thanks

Your first month you're on a pro rata number of minutes/texts etc.
Say your contract starts on the 10th of the month and your billing date in the 30th. For that 20 days you'll get around two thirds of your monthly limit, once the billing date hits you'll get the full amount for the next month and all months after. All network work like that.0 -
You have probably got a pro rata allowance until the next billing cycle.
If you joined in the middle of the billing cycle, you will receive a pro rata allowance of minutes, texts and costs until the beginning of your next billing cycle.
If give Customer Service a call, they will be able to let you know your first billing date and when you will receive the full months allowance.0 -
You might want to phone up and ask if you are still unsure, it is not unknown for them to make a mistake, but it would at least put your mind at ease.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
