Im beginning to think maybe the OP isnt the parent but maybe the son, just a theory based on the comments used, they're attitude
For the son sake...i REALLY hope you are right, because if it is the mother posting, the son has no hope of ever becoming anything.
As i said before, the apple never falls far from the tree.0 -

oh boo hoo he can't pay the fine all at once and if he wants installments he has to pay more..... If he's looking for sympathy then may I suggest trying any dictionary, he will find it somewhere between s4!t and syphilis. Tell him to pull his finger out and pay up, also as another said if he is hoping for a military career then he had better change rapidly, lockers have a strong tendancy to frequently fall on the arms of thieves in the forces.Approach her; adore her. Behold her; worship her. Caress her; indulge her. Kiss her; pleasure her. Kneel to her; lavish her. Assert to her; let her guide you. Obey her as you know how; Surrender is so wonderful! Im ex-forces, and believe me, thieves are treated as the worst kind of scum.
When you are living in the very close proximity of your oppos, a thief is the last thing anyone wants to be around.
You keep making all these pathetic excuses for him, and say how it was a mistake.
Get a grip !!!!!!....it was a mistake because he was caught.
Once the Army find out about this, they may not take him on (and rightly so).
It's no wonder your son is scummy at 18 with such a pathetic role model like yourself.
Then the army is the best place for him. It will teach him respect and to be relevant in part of a team. Could be the best thing for him.
It's turning in to a silly slanging match on here. The OP is protecting his/her son which is a natural thing to do, we're human. Of course stealing is terrible but he needs to realise its a bad mistake and get on with it.
I really think the army is a great way to go.Trying to spread calmness, understanding and optimism on MSE

The lads in the barracks will kick seven shades out of him if they find him stealing from their lockers.0

Why is the OP asking people if their kids have done wrong?
What's that got to do with someone stealing?
Most, if not all kids do wrong, but only some do something ILLEGAL.Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0 -
IF the Army will accept him now depends on if this was a conviction or an on the spot fine. The Army wont accept him until the conviction is spent. http://www.nacrodisclosures.org.uk/Q66.htm0

Rather be a criminal than do an honest day's work? Says it all OP.I'm not bad at golf, I just get better value for money when I take more shots!0
