And if u broke the law Ya mother would throw u out?

As with most other people in this thread, I agree. It's your instinct to want to help him but he will never learn until he's taught a lesson and has to stand on his own two feet.
You should let him come down to earth with a bang, he has a Vectra. Tell him to sell it, pay off the fine and buy a smaller car
Don't help him out with the repayments, make him go to court, if necessary the JSA will slap an injunction on him anyway so before he even gets his money the dole will take it off him straight away
I'm from a culture myself where I grew up my parents would have give me a belt if I had done something like that. I learnt the hard way :P
If he's too stubborn to sell his Vectra (or it's needed), then sell his TV / Games Console, CD Player for Car etc to a pawn shop, paper, eBay, that will total up quickly and get it out the way. Either that or the case gets serious and the debitors (or whatever their name is) come in and collect the goods in his name anyway most likely starting with the Vectra....Owner of andrewhope.co.uk, hate cars and love them

I think its goto be down to the individual,
If your child done something wrong and you could help him then good, as long as they learn a lesson.
If you dont give a flying F*** about your kids then yeh sure let them boil, or throw them on the street, After all they have done something Wrong (something that u never did)
In this case the question was is there anything HE can do to make installment. Not weather or not he deserves it.
He was sorry and have learnt a lesson thats the main thing.
He has not got a VECTRA nor Any other car.
(wish people would read whole threads)
I will Pay it but be sure he will be paying me back. ::)
Cheers for most ya comments.0 -
