Although the Vectra owning son might be a different son of course. If there is another son could he maybe lend the son in this thread the money for the fine?
I have sons, they argue all the time but if one of them had a problem they would go without something themselves rather than let one of the other ones have problems.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. But can't afford to pay a fine for stealing?

Well if he can't pay it all in one go, he'll have to miss a payment then set up repayments in installments, won't he.Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0

According to this thread OP is ADI qualified driving instructor.

Yikes! Please reveal your trading name so that when I have kids we can avoid you. I like how the OP says the theft is "silly". Theft is "silly" as much as the Titanic had an "oopsie -daisy".
With regards to the nice car though, if you read up the thread a little I think the 18 year old is supposedly referring to one of their students. Not entirely sure though because lusamoel doesn't make sense in 90% of what they say.
Your son is on JSA. He gets x amount of money every week. He can afford it, he'll just have to cancel a few nights out...you know...make some sacrifices. Be a good parent and let him see the results of his theft.0 -
Your son will get more dole money per fortnight than the fine so he's just going to have to be skint for 2 weeks. Maybe he should sell his car.
Personally, if it were my son he'd be looking for somewhere else to live. I bet he's stolen from you.0 -
I'd save my sympathy for the person he stole from if I were his mother." The greatest wealth is to live content with little."

If he cannot afford the orginal fine then that is his problem as a mother i know how you must feel in terms of wanting to protect him but if your child has stolen then he must pay the consequences - Dont get involved whether its fair or unfair if you step in then all you are doing is telling him that he hasnt done anything wrong, let him learn from this even if it is the hard way.0

I'd get kicked out if I'd committed a willing criminal offence, my Mum would not be posting on a forum asking for people to help:pWar does not determine who is right - only who is left.0

Hi guys my son like the stupid idiot he is
got a fine the other day for stealing. He lives with us and pays a little towards his keep. This really doesnt make sense to me and think this is really unfair,
Some people are just unreal...
He is a thief and user and what is coming his way is deemed "unfair"...
Sad sad state of affairs..:(0
