Just adding my two penneth. I took delivery of my Tesco grocery shop last night. Very happy. Have been thinking about changing to Barclays because of the Cashminder Visa Debit but I'm now going to stay with Co-op. I 'like' them, especially the English customer call centre, called many a time and always get through quickly. Works for me.
As a bank I like their values. Maybe I'm taking things at face value again and should look deeper (like what Alastair flagged up with credit reporting) but I feel like i'm in control with the Coop - they don't control me. I have choice and may well choose to have other products with them, If I choose and when.0 -
I'm getting rather excited, as last night, I ordered my whole months shopping online from Tesco with my Co-op card - due for delivery Friday morning.
The payment was accepted...I hope it all goes through...and still have to make sure I wake up in time to receive the delivery (I work late shifts, so mornings are strange things to me)...

Hurrah! It turned up :j
Even though other people seemed to get their shopping without issue, I was still wondering if it would actually work for me or notVSP Challenge 2014 #??? - £9.970 -
afternoon all
I have had a cashminder card since November and have shopped instore in Tesco using my card as payment regularly with no problem.
Today, my card was refused instore despite there being funds in my account  i walked outside, took the cash out of the same account, and went back instore to pay for it. Embarassing!
I have no idea why the card was declined, but i will make sure i always carry enough cash in case it is refused in the future.
Has anyone else had this problem?
