  • Big thank you! I've managed to book a weekend in Paris at the end of October, now all I need is to find a hotel!

We are going Sat-Mon rather than Fri-Sun as this option was still cheap..

Anyone with pointers for cheap hotel websites, please share!!!
  • We're staying at http://www.hoteldelaportedoree.com/index.htm

Tripadvisor gives it some very good reviews. On the outskirts but right next to a metro station and a very tasty boulangerie. :D

Hi, can anyone please tell me how do i book the two tickets buut with the offer? what option do you select or what? many thanks!
Save saynoto0870.com in your favorites, and stop giving companies more £££ dialling 0870 numbers when you can dial freephones or cheaper alternatives
call your credit card company, tell them that you want to leave, 99% of the time theyll lower your APR%
Remember when that Bank Manager or Salesperson smiles at you, all he sees is £ notes. Dont forget the motto, "the wider their grin, the more debt your in"

You just use the link in my first email put in the passwords, you are then taken to the booking page where you put in your dates, if you can't see the £29 (£49 Fri-Sun) tickets they have sold out and you will need to change dates and/or times of travel until you get the good prices.

  • [(bought a small bottle of red on the train)

When we go, we always hit M&S at Waterloo... a good bottle of red for the same price as a mini bottle on the train, we take a corkscrew, get smoked salmon, bruschetta, parma ham, and chocolate goodies and get stuck into the french way of life before we get there!

It saves you a packet on buying food on the train. If you are clever, you can use M&S vouchers obtained from smart 'MSE'ing...!!!

There are still limited dates available if anyone is interested.

£58 for two people (£29 per person) return Mon - Thu is a very good price.
