thanks for the passwords guys!
I'm overseas at the moment, but am glad I may not miss out on this offer (as long as the dates I want are available!!)
Waiting patiently for the 4th password....0 -

To upgrade to 1st is £70 per pair of tickets - EACH WAY. Having travelled first, in my opinion no way is it worth an extra £140 - money would be better spent upgrading on an hotel. If you want champagne and decent food - take a picnic!
You can check out the t&c for all the prices and restrictions.
Booking doesn't open until 9am today.0 -

lots of availability in november for paris,

Actually I disagree (like an earlier person). It's all about space - I've done it half a dozen times and it avoids the mass brawl of economy carriages. It can be an oasis and for those that want to avoid carriages full of kids and backpackers, then pay the extra - champers and food is a perk.
...as these trips are quite restricted - times wise, my money is that it'll be busy, so perhaps another reason to upgrade.
Anyway, each one to their own.0 -
They are selling out fast, it was hard to find a weekend with good times still available but just managed to book 10th Novemebr, there was availability on other dates (depart 7AM) but all the good travel times had gone.
Good luck with your booking, report back how you get on..0 -
Took advantage of this deal when offered last year.I had just arrived in the U.K. from the U.S. and my fiance & I went to Paris for 2 days. We took a picnic lunch (bought a small bottle of red on the train) and it was the best £58 we ever spent. We were lucky to find a lovely, quiet place to stay overnight (obviously not included in the £58). We had glorious weather and walked over 7 hours the first day and another 5 the next before taking a taxi back (couldn't have walked another step!) to catch our return Eurostar. Well worth it if you've never been.
This time we're hoping to visit Brussels! :j Thanks for the passwords! :T0 -
How did you manage to find the discounted fares? I went through the Telegraph website, entered the passwords, and then went on to select my outbound and inbound trains (Friday 22/9 at 15:11 coming back Sat 7/10 at 18:16 - outside the restricted times), but the standard class is still showing as £188 for two people!
