True Video Ipod?

More memory just means that you have to skip more songs to get good ones because there is no way IMHO that anyone has 100Gb of good music.

I would think the next generation must have widescreen, possibly mounted sideways to keep the size down, everything is wide now.

But if you really want video, surely Ipods are not the thing to use? There are plenty specialist video devices from archos and the like.

i doubt we will see one before christmas, if we were going to get one we would have heard by now. Plus they are still working out kinks and returns of the ipod nano!

Can't argue with that, but I would have thought that xmas is the biggest selling period for most things, so they'd lose out big time if they didn't have a new product for xmas?

True but I suppose the Ipod video/nano are still dominating the market so they may choose to wait a while. Who knows......Pretty happy with my 30GB Ipod video so the new one would have to do something pretty special to make me upgrade

I've seen plenty of pics like that floating around the net. Not sure about this one, as I can't imagine it'll actually say "iphone" or "ipod" on the device itself! But all the other pics I've seen have been pretty similar.

I've also been reading that itunes are going to start movie downloads soon, so you'd think Apple would also release a suitable device to play the movies on?!
