Why are private sellers allowed to get away with this?

I was recently told by someone at ebay that I didn't have to accept paypal. So I wouldn't eleive anythi ng they say. Your the one putting this theory out there with no evidence just because you state something doesn't make it true.
I know i have recently reported copyright infringements (not the sort that are normally picked up) and the listings have been pulled So I don't over estimate my importance but I like to think reporting it would have some effect which I eleive it does in a lot of cases.
If ebay are using software to route out the infingments they are not using very good software. If i was them i'd ask for a refund:D0 -
Not the old 'we use software that sorts out the business sellers' fib again, I suppose one day ebay may well realise we gave up believing them years ago. It would hardly explain why there have been threads on here (pre the capped listings) of 'private' sellers with 4000+ listings and some with company names, oh and the ones selling brand new boxed items in the hundreds.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Isn't there a cap now of a maximum of 100 items listed a month, any more than that and you HAVE to become a business seller?Just because you are offended, doesn't mean you are right0

The 100 capped limit is for free 99p listings. Ebay are telling more and more people that they must register as a business but it is completely random, so far all but two of those I know of have been selling second hand clothes.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Not quite.Isn't there a cap now of a maximum of 100 items listed a month, any more than that and you HAVE to become a business seller?
It's 100 99p and under items that private sellers get free each month.
You can have more than that, but you have to pay to list the extra ones.
And you can of course start them at more for a fee. This is my opinion. There are many others like it but this is mine:kisses2: Fiancee of the "lovely" DaveAshton :kisses2:I am a professional ebay seller. I work hard at my job, I love my job, if you think it's silly that's your problem not mine.
