I think the Ribena offer finishes tonight. I have noticed on my supermarket that sometimes offers/prices that finish on a Tuesday night are sometimes changed during the day on the ms. Maybe they change them when the supermarkets do on their websites, which I suppose they change during the day as you cannot get a delivery today.Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)

Hope you raise lots of dosh - We send cash to Shelterbox as you are sure it will get the goods there and quickly.
I think the idea of the shelterbox is fantastic & as it is a rotary project you can be sure is well run. It seems such a simple idea but all immediate needs are met.

Thank you everyone for you kind words, prayers and support. Yesterday went well and everyone said I did David proud. I didn't say everything I wanted to say at the service though as I kept having to stop talking to compose myself but everyone said I did really well. The BBQ was just what Hubs would have loved. We played his favourite music and told "David" stories all day. My lovely daughter-in-law noticed a single white butterfly that went around to all the guests and then hung around for a while and we all said it was David (or his spirit). There was one hic-up and that was the flowers did not arrive on time. At first I told the funeral director that I would definitely sack the florist but then when the flowers arrived after the service the delivery guy apologised and we were told the driver that was bringing the flowers had been in an accident on his way to deliver the flowers. I'm waiting for the funeral director to call me back with news as to how the driver is. I hate to think that someone got hurt or killed to bring flowers. I didn't eat anything yesterday, couldn't face it, but everone said the burgers and chicken were just like Hubs would have made. Hubby was a brilliant cook, that's way I'm so fat!;) So all in all I feel happy that we gave him a send off he would have loved but I'd rather have him here with me where he belongs. This still seems like a really bad dream that I can't wake up from. My new focus is selling up and moving back home. I think it will be quite a while before I won't have something to focus on as when I get back home then I will have to focus on cleaning my Mom's house to make room for me, daughter and 3 dogs and getting a job. As long as I can stay focused on other things it should help me to function in a somewhat normal manner. Thanks again to all of you for being such good friends!:AMurphy knows me too well and sticks to me like glue!0

Sher - Glad yesterday went well and good to hear everyone was telling "David" stories. I'm sure they will continue to pop up in conversation - it's a lovely way to keep a person alive in your mind and heart.
It's interesting to hear about the butterfly. After my daughter's partner was killed, a heron started flying over her house each day - something she had never seen before and like you, she thought it was Steve watching over her for those first few weeks.
You have a harder road now but keep strong and let your family and friends (including all your virutal ones!) help you move forward.0 -
Glad it went well Sher, thinking of you ................:AIf at first you don't succeed, try, try, try - oh bu99er that just cheat0

Sher, I'm glad things went as you wished yesterday and what a lovely thought that your hubby was showing you he was there with you, through the butterfly. xxSo your answer don’t be scared of failure
