Interesting! This very afternoon I have been mulling over a prospectus for off-plan apartments with a worst-case get out option of 500% guaranteed after 36 months if you choose not to complete.

They are in various locations, one also being a Lunar venture, but the ones with the highest potential gains are in the Alpha Centauri market.
I'm considering the 'penthouse with infinity pool option that enjoys desirable views of the left spiral of the Milky Way'.;)

The salesperson who bought this potential galactic goldmine to my attention confirmed that yes, he had already invested himself and would have been stupid not to. This was extremely reassuring and thus I think I may just take that 'one small step'...

    Any thoughts/advice?

Make sure you get full mineral rights, thats where the real money is.

Another friend received a brochure from a company called "Investment Land UK Ltd" but took my advice and didn't invest. Brochure had some misleading info, but the most interesting bit is that if they sell all the plots they will get about £6 million.
If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales

    900% MINIMUM my friend, 900% MINIMUM!

    All the best.
What an utter load of tripe.

This person is clearly from the land banking company.

Fact: No land banking scheme has EVER been granted planning permission for new housing. Most of these schemes are in the Green Belt and stand no chance of being built upon (and I speak from experience, having dealt with several of these scams myself, from an enforcement point of view) - that applies even more so now, with the Governments intended abolition of regional housing targets.

I think he's being a bit bearish actually - I would expect 2000% returns in today's climate! :money:
