sky+ phone line needed?

Hi, I moved house recently and plugged in my sky+ box but did not connect it to the phone line.
At first i had no problems at all, but now my screen just keeps saying no signal being received 'please unplug your sky+ box for 1 minute '.
Can anyone tell me is this just a coincidence or do i need to connect to the phone line?

Have you tried unplugging for 1 minute??

We get this occasionally too, all corrected after unplugging for a little while. I don't have it connected to the phone line either, because it interupts the broadband signal.
