Last thing - on B&B's website the rate is at 5% - is this going to change? If so, when?
Thebank of england raised rates at the beginning of August.
Many banks are therefore raising their rates at the beginning of September and news is coming out right about NOW.
In your posistion I would consider waiting a week or two for this news to come out before finally making a decision.0 -

the rate is due to change on 3rd Sept I guess thats when they will update the website

jsut be careful with B&B, they managed to lose my initial deposit cheque of £3K. Not going to trust them with a transfer of £25K too so will stick with Abbey.
Less interest but at least I know my money is safe.0
