  • Money in this programme seemed to come from nowhere with the usual 'we've borrowed every penny possible, remortgaged to the hilt etc - then you get a shot of a lovely furnashed house!! Where did the money come from to buy furnashings? ...

The impression i got - and its only my personnal view - was that here we have a couple of women who are not as hard up as the programme made out, probably got bored and decided to jump on the bandwagon after watching numerous 'do it up' programmes.

One of the women said that she didn't have £20,000 lying around in her current account. I just though hmmm but what about your savings account though??
  • Missed half this show. Didn't they say they had borrowed more than the initial £20,000 on their UK properties and also used credit cards? There is no profit on these houses if they haven't sold and as another OP said houses in Spain are just not shifting like they used to. Mountain properties don't appeal to everyone unless near to ski slopes as it can be very cold in the winter. Hope we get an update.
  • Can I just say that on tonight's episode the brother who lent money to his sister and her husband was a pig and makes us entrepreneurs look like selfish runts!

He "lent" them £400,000 and did the big "I am" all through the programme only for it to be revealed he charged £800 a month interest to them.

He was apparently a multi millionaire so why charge interest?? This ain't a business, it's your sister.

On the upside, he seemed to live alone in his big massive house with only his fruit machines for company.

Sorry, had to vent. Isn't the whole point of success to share it with others?
