Anyone else feel that the amounts paid are getting less and surveys getting longer. They will soon be competing with Ciao for giving poor amounts of money for surveys!!! I haven't bothered to do any that they have sent recently as the money is not enough for the time it takes to do the survey.

Totally agree with you, I did one the other day, took 3 mins for 50p, that's fair enough but then they send a 35 minute one for 75p and think we'll do it, think again VO, think again!!!!

I seem to be doing better, knocking up £15 in the past 6 weeks. I also have about £6 credit and £8 to come.
    I must be doing something??

ok my screen went blank so apologies if I am posting this twice!

Wow- you are all really lucky, in my experience of surveys (I am a member of about 5) VO is the most poorly paid. In the 4 plus years I have been a member and answering questionaires every day, I have amounted £14.50 in total. I do every survey they send, dont qualify for alot but get quite far into it before the decide to terminate, and rarely get anywhere.

I know I should be grateful for something for nothing, but its not nothing, its my time, my energy, my life, and VO is the one survey site I am considering leaving (once I have cashed in my £14.50 that is)

good luck to everyone else though!

Ha typical!!! I just got a survey for £2 and thought ok £2 is not so bad and went to do it and it was specifically for landlords who rent out property. didn't even bother to start the survey as I know i won't qualify. How come the 'ok' paid surveys are always for things that we aren't or don't do!!!!

I heard so many good things about this lot but they really haven't delivered the goods for me :( Since signing up in about February, I've only completed one survey for them. Glad I'm not the only one having a rough time with them!

I got a reminder email from VO to fill in my diary every day, i kept the link from that and just keep re-visiting each day. Make sure you visit every day to get your £4 payout as well as the 50p initial one.

I just claimed my first £10 from them after 2 years of trying to fill their surveys in. It's a complete waste of time when most of their surveys crash or are bugged to hell. I still have 1.50 in my pot but I've not bothered going for any more as it's too much like hard work for the rewards you get.

Also the surveys are all fiddled to get set results. If you select something like "I would not buy this product" or "This would not be my first choice" it boots you out saying thank you but you are not eligible for this survey. No wonder why we get such badly designed products and poor marketing campaigns when the market research has been fiddled to please the companies who pay them.

This defeats the purpose of market research!
  • I've got £17 in my account, and another £15 waiting to validate. I've never had a problem with surveys crashing, apart from once, and apparently they knew there was a problem with that one (it was one of their partner's surveys).

I've had £40 paid out so far, since August 07. Perhaps I'm one of the lucky one's.
