Had the same, got the survey and they already had enough responses. Do you get any pay for this then or not? Cause my mobile internet isn't free although im sure it wont cost much but even so its time spent?

I'm guessing we won't be paid. I'm pretty sure their T&C's say something like "We reserve the right to screw you over, hold back any money for any reason, and simply not pay if we don't feel like it".

I'm not going to give up without a fight, but in the past I have found that trying to get anything at all out of Valued Opinions is futile, even if it is their survey that doesn't work correctly.
You're spelling is effecting me so much. Im trying not to be phased by it but your all making me loose my mind on mass!! My head is loosing it's hair. I'm going to take myself off the electoral role like I should of done ages ago and move to the Caribean. I already brought my plane ticket, all be it a refundable 1.

I have said a few times in this thread that i really like VO....am i allowed to change my mind now lol.

In the last week ive started about 5 different surveys and get about half way through, and im then greeted with a complete blank page. Ive left it for ages and then refreshed, to be told i have completed the survey.

I emailed VO and explained this, and given them all the surveys ive done, they replied sorry and that was it...i reckon ive missed out on about a fiver in total.....not happy!

I know what you mean... I keep saying I'm going to quit them but having a £10 Tesco voucher come through the mail every 6 weeks feels really good! So I guess I'll just keep at it, for now!

Only been with VO for about 4 months and earned approx 45 quid so far, not including the bank survey on the mobile phone, plus if accepted a weight survey for approx 400 quid, so for me the best site i am subscribed to.

A question though, finished the bank survey but no payment showing yet, has anybody received the money as showing in their account?

It did say on the inital email that the reward should cover the phone bill costs but if not to send them a copy of the bill and they would refund you. So if you don't get paid send them your bill and you should at least get your costs back - not as good as a fiver but means you havent lost anything.

    This it definitely did say.
...but if not to send them a copy of the bill and they would refund you.

I don't think it said that. Check again - I think you'll find that it's worded very delicately, and never says that they will necessarily compensate you for anything. Maybe of course, I'm just a big pessimist!

I just gave them a call, they said it's probably an error with the survey, but he wasn't able to say if I would get rewarded or not. He said that he would forward my email address on to "the people that deal with these sorts of things".

Sorry I just assumed that since they said they might ask for your bill they would then use this to compensate
If the expense you incur exceeds this please contact us (and note that we may ask for a copy of your mobile phone bill).

As this appears to be their first survey of this kind there are bound to be a few teething problems and I would think that they would at least compensate expenses in this case but will have to wait and see I guess.

I did think it was slightly sneaky of them to say that the questionnaire would end on Wednesday in one email and Tuesday...you would have thought they would want responses from everyone that took part but then again maybe they were hoping a few would forget etc....

You're quite the optimist compared to me! My thought is that if they're not under any legal obligation to compensate you, then they won't.
The guy on the phone said there are surveys going on like this all the time... but it's the first one I've seen!
Thing is, there shouldn't be teething problems in my opinion, surveys are all that Valued Opinions do. They're a survey company. If they can't get that right, what hope is there for them? Don't they have a Quality Assurance department?
