    How much are you expecting?
I started that survey and I'm sure it said something like £1 for 20 minutes. The initial survey of listening to some music took about that length of time, and when that was completed it just cut straight to an introduction about rating 702 songs. I'm not willing to go through that lot for a pound!

It told me £3 at the start - wouldn't have bothered for a pound either! I'm really hoping to get another voucher before Christmas, so I stuck it out!

I've just managed to complete a survey, so hopefully it was just a blip!

Has anyone done the huge long song rating survey with 702 songs? I completed it over 5 days and I've just pressed the submit button at the end, and what do you know?! An error!! I'm so mad!

The exact same thing happened to me, I was fizzing! I sent an email through their website to complain & they credited me with £3 to make up for it.

I've had so many of those music rating surveys, I love music but hate these surveys because they are so long! And I've been through at least two where I didn't get paid (either they said the connection died or the survey sent me back to the VO site saying I'd been screened out.) I now just refuse them, I close down the page and move on. Unless they're going to offer a decent amount back it's not something I am going to give my time for.

I got a reply from them yesterday and they've credited me the £3 - yay! Still getting the 'we have no surveys for you at this time' message when I click through most survey emails though.

Me too. Sent them an email about it and they said they were aware of it and sorting it out.

I signed up with Valued Opinions a few weeks ago to see if it would earn me a few extra quid. All seemed to be going well as I managed to get my credit up to £5 after only a couple of weeks. I thought, that's good, only a few more weeks and I can get me a nice Amazon voucher. However, the surveys have dried up pretty quickly, but what's worse is that any I do get tend to throw me out saying that I do not fit the demographic. I assume that they don't want males in their fifties for some reason. One survey even let me answer questions for about fifteen minutes before it threw me out, which is not really very fair. But it also means that, if I don't reach £15.50 I can't even claim the money that I have earned so far. So it looks like this is not as good a way of getting some extra cash as is made out, unless you are female and young!

I think the only thing you're doing wrong is expecting it to be a good way to earn extra cash. If you look at some of the postings on the main VO thread, there seem to be quite a lot of unhappy campers.
  • Yep, that's what I'm finding out now. It seemed so good to start with though.
