Well I may be a little bit in the 'I'm alright Jack' camp, but I'm pretty pleased with the Budget........being in the cheapo chicken business anyway.
Its well targetted and will hopefully lead to more responsible spending of our Taxes........especially Council Tax!
For me it's a 'meh - probably won't make much difference to me'.. swings and roundabouts.Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -

I have yet to know a budget that has made a huge difference to my life. Has he changed something to do with basic tax, because that is how I am taxed for my 2nd job so I am hoping he is not going to take more otherwise I will have to reconsider. See you try to help yourself by taking on more work only to be penalised for it.:j I belong to Mike's Mob :j0

Seems an ok budget to me, mostly. I can earn more before having to pay tax, though petrol and car repairs will go through the roof come Jan when the VAT goes up.
Best get as much of my car fixed up as possible before then.

Afternoon peeps.
Not even looked at the budget yet. Burying my head in the sand, hoping it will either go away or not really affect us. Our family budget is way too tight already

Ok,
If you were going to go away over night for a romantic night with your OH, where would you go?
(Bear in mind we have to leave the kids with someone so dont want to be too far away from the Midlands)Empty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0 -

Only time we've ever been away for a romantic night, we drove to Loch Ness, stayed in a hotel on the shore of the loch and our room had a balcony with a loch view. Tis a very special place, but a long drive for one night. Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:
