Hi all - just back from 2nd job and feel done in. Saw a little girl get knocked down tonight all because parents let her run ahead and were not holding here hand at the crossing. Can still hear the thump, thankfully the car wasn't going to fast as it was rush hour traffic, but the dad ran out into the road and picked her up and pulled off his t shirt to mop up blood from her head. Shouldn't have moved her really, but I suppose it was instinct cos she was only little, about 3/4. The ambulance came, but by then I was inside. I really can't understand why parents don't hold little ones hands. There were two older girls about 9 & 7 who were, understandably, screaming. Anyway I hope that she is okay. Cup of tea waiting for me so catch up later....

    Afternoon peeps.

Not even looked at the budget yet. Burying my head in the sand, hoping it will either go away or not really affect us. Our family budget is way too tight already :o

Me too.Past caring in a way TBH.

  • Spent the last hour or so trawling job websites....

....Lots of jobs, but just nothing I can do - or, the pay is appalling and worse than I'm on.

Joins in, although for me its those magic words 'experience required'
