    Hi All

    just a few things for me after a busy sunny day at Alton towers yesterday. Very good though and used clubcard vouchers. So very DFW!
    Will do:
    washing and dry outside (1 out, 1 in)
    dinner from stores (lamb steaks marinating as we speak)
    lunch from left over last night BBQ
    checked banking and quidco - had query paid!!
    Quick clean round using current cleaning materials before I buy more!
    Water plants using water from butt

    have a lovely sunny day everyone x :)

    Not posted on here before but love the idea. so here goes

    making wedding anniversary present for DH rather than buying.
    decorating bare plaster wall in kitchen with cut outs from old coloured suspension files so that we can sit at table for anniversary dinner and have a more interesting view. will all come off as used masking tape on back for sticking. DD loved helping me sticking hearts all over the place.
    checked bank. backdated child benefit has reached our account. yay
    accepted mum's offer to treat us to a takeaway for our anniversary.
    going to post ebay parcels this afternoon.
    done my flybaby beginners steps for 7th day in a row.

    Afternoon all!

    Not loads to report here really but every little helps as they say :)

    Dried washing on the line.

    DS has a new full-time job as of yesterday and will be paying us back what he owes us once he gets paid :j

    Homemade bread for lunch and I'll be making a frittata for dinner with some leftover potatoes and peppers so that's a cheap dinner.

    Bonus! I received a £5 voucher from Bird's Eye as compensation for finding a magot in a packet of petit pois :eek: I had to post them the magot as well and by the time it had defrosted and dried out it had shrunk to about a quarter of the size!!:rotfl: Still, that's a nice stash of peas for my freezer isn't it?

    Hmm, not a very productive day so far, and rapidly running out of day! :o

    * [STRIKE]washing on[/STRIKE] and hung up outside
    * put carpet on attic stairs (it's only carpet tiles, so won't take long, but will look FAB!)
    * next stage of bathroom DIY (kind of got sidetracked by more cheery job on attic stairs :rotfl:)
    * water garden
    * plant out rocket
    * repot beetroot
    * check library books due dates
    * write PhD section
    * 1 hour transcribing work
    * [STRIKE]meet friend for nice cup of tea[/STRIKE] :j
    * [STRIKE]pick up prescription [/STRIKE]
    * [STRIKE]surveys[/STRIKE]
    * [STRIKE]take money for week out of bank[/STRIKE]
    * [STRIKE]ring O2 to see why my phone won't send texts...[/STRIKE] :mad:
    * meeting tonight

    On a better note, 5 people have bid on my cd on ebay (first ever ebay sale!) and it's now up to £2.70! :rotfl: Am well chuffed (although suffering from complete guilt of the 'what if they get it and it's not what they wanted' variety :o)

    Today:
    I shopped at sainsburys trying to use as much of the basics range, own brand or if cheaper branded products
    Got my gp to prescribe ranitidine (zantac) as currently using a lot each week, even though only buy generic ranitidine it was still costing a fiver a month when in reallity I get my prescriptions on a pre-payment certificate
    Same for volterol (which was necessitating the ranitidine) so saved another £5 at least as these are so expensive - fiver every 3 days or so
    filled up petrol in case of immediate budget increase in cheapest garage which also happened to be sainsburys so got nectar points as well
    Went for a walk and a chillout
    Made a chilli with quorn mince but used extra tins of toms to bulk out further, also cut my portion size
    Arranged for a beautiful pair of £80 shoes to go back - i'm afraid I would have kept them if I could have got my fat trotters into them
    Read newspaper for free online
    Chased up IR re the money they owe me

    Fairly good day today. I had a unit on my NVQ signed off (just one more to go) and worked two hours overtime to add to the kitty.
