What is your postcode and what is the make, model, cc etc of the car. What is your brother's occupation. Other 17 year olds are not being quoted this price, so there is something out of the ordinary here. Has he had convictions prior to the passing his test, accidents etc.0 -
There is a new company called Insurethe Box- they fit a tracker and give you 6000 miles free above that you pay as you go but you can earn miles through good driving. You can get a quote direct or through moneysavingsupermarket( it wont appear unlesss your estimated mileage is 6000)0

Elephant was cheapest for me at 17. Although Elephant/Bell/Sheila's Wheels and Admiral are all the same company.
It's diamond that's part of the admiral group. Shielas wheels is owned by HalifaxI was born too late, into a world that doesn't care
Oh I wish I was a punk rocker with flowers in my hair0 -
For high risk (young driver) insurance I'd suggest 17to40 direct and Adrian Flux. Both brokers specialising in high risk.0

What of fiesta tho?
17yr males insurance insurance go up by the day. Other halfs bro is 17 and has been getting prices for 6 months for cars and everytime he quotes it goes up. He was going 1800 on a mk5 its now 2300 fom the same company.
Its your piers you have to blame> Especially those with mummys and dadies who go here have a brand new polo that cost 10k and 3k of insurance so you have no idea of the cost or responsibilty of having a car. This has alot of young people (mainly male) have a easy come easy go attitude to their car that mummy and daddy bought and so they drive like donuts, make claims and bang goes your premium to.
I saved up 2k to buy my first car started when I was 14 working washing dishes.0
