I always send recorded, stops all the scammers bidding as they know there is little chance of a successful INR claim.

Unless of course they live in London where recorded makes it almost certain they will get a crafty refund. Nothing is ever signed for in my area, or in Central London so they know they can get a refund and not even look dodgy.

However, as a business seller i welcome the sheer paranoia of my competitors who believe all buyers are scammers as your postage is 74p more than mine so I get the buyers, so thank you.

I'd send it recorded to be on the safe side, unless the item was like 99p.
