dougk wrote:I think its much more down to the type of items you sell... some things attract NPB's more than others and obviously some items attract different sorts of people.
For instance you are more likely to have problems with Pop CD's (that attract younger people etc) than Country CD's that attract older more "experienced" and dare i say "respectful" people.
My OH used to sell lots of craft items and never had any NPB's in 100+ auctions, I go and list a 3 computer games and get 2 NPB's!!!!!!
dougk i think you have hit the nail on the head therei usually sell craft items, bears and odds and sods but when i listed my old phone and computer games its like npb alert lol, finally sold them though

Oh AT you are right that did make me feel better, i bet after that you always triple check them before you send any of them now lol
kevin_M - was that just a random guess at what i sell :rotfl:
I think i have had more NPB's with the dvd's than i ever had with anything else, which tbh did suprise me as the dvd's i was selling were mainly old tv classic comedies from the 60's/70's/80's so the target audience for them now would have been a bit older or at least 99% of them have beenthe other 1% are my NPB's

You'd think so wouldn't youthe teapot fiasco must have been a distant memory because only a few weeks ago I sent an order of 3 pieces of china to Germany, I'd sent the MUG that a UK bidder won instead of the JUG that the German bidder won, so the mug had to be sent back from Germany (only £6 this time :rotfl: ) The jug hadn't been posted to the UK buyer so that was posted to Germany ASAP and the mug came back in the same wrappings.
The UK bidder was hilarious about it, it was a series of china with a rabbit on, she said the the rabbit deserved his holiday and hoped he'd enjoy himself in Germany before he came to live with his new UK family, I played along and with it in all the emails, we both had a giggle and I got good feedback from them both.
I am going to have to stop this box swap stuff though, it's not good for my nerves0 -
Can I add my own arghhhhhhhhhhh to the thread.
I sold a PS2 game this morning, it was newly listed so should have been in the small box pending removal to the main storage, only it isn't. I can remember putting it in there, everything else that should be in there still is, but no game. I have this horrible , rather mean thought that maybe one of the children here on a sleep over last week may have taken it to play, and forgotten to put it back. The box was in the same room as they slept...but I obviously can't say anything as the house was very very busy that day and there were lots of games being played, and traded.
I have emailed the Amazon buyer and explained i just can't find th egame, and have sent a very quick refund, so fingers crossed they understand and don't neg me.
I'm so cross at myself and cross that I've had the house upside down looking for it and now the place is a tip.
