Why can't you wear them Beanie? I practically live in flip flops in the summer,as they are comfy with my odd sized feet,but podiatrist said competely flat shoe are not good for me, I ought to have about a 1" heel-so these are good compromise...sun gone in here so ironing instead:(.

Ok, lesson 1: Never try running in the middle of the day in boiling heat.
Lesson 2: Listen to your body, not the guy in the podcast.
In summary, I lasted 11 mins, 43 secs before realising that if I ran any further, I was going to throw up. So I stopped and walked home again. I'm going to try just walking the whole podcast on Wed, running the first 60 secs on Fri, 2 lots of 60 secs next Mon and so on. And if that's too much, I'll stick at the amount of 60 secs I can do then for a week and then try again. Might take me a bit longer than 9 weeks to be running 5k at this rate! :rotfl:
