I stayed at the Tune hotel by the Low Cost Carrier Terminal at Kuala Lumpur International Airport.
The room was tiny. But it was clean, with a comfortable bed and a good power shower. Tune's proposition is based on the low cost airline model. Its not a million miles from Travelodge-although you do have to pay for towels and internet access (and air con in KL). Good if you want to crash cheaply. The room was better decorated than some of the motels in France I've stayed in.0 -

I've just read the newsletter and the 1p rooms go on sale at 12.01am on Tuesday morning not 5pm on Monday. They are only releasing 200 on Tuesday and then will be releasing more batches on other Tuesdays (or Tunedays as they call them!) in July. Guess the chances of getting one will be pretty slim but even so if you can get a room for £35 in central London it's still great value. Think they'll be giving Stelios a run for his money!!0

I have looked on the site and I can see rooms at 1p. I presume that these are the ones that will be available on Tuesday 00.01am. There are not 1p rooms every day though....especially at weekends. There was one without a window for £9 on the Sunday I want to go.0

If you try and book a room in August you will see that rooms before the 24th August are 'FULL' so I assume that it opens 24th August.0 -
