Oooo that does sound great, they will be only VERY limited rooms at 1p though - but for where it is in London, even at £35 per night, I think they will always have a roaring trade :)

Wanna bet....some people would still moan if it was a 1p and no add ons...Think with some people there is a fine line between money saving and greed

Re the add-ons I looked up the link but think that is in a local currency. What sort of price are you talking about. I agree that low price and good location are what you look for esp in London. Used to go to Travelodge a lot when they opened up in the UK as they were always clean and had comfy beds. Past few stays have been less than impressed. One of the big issues is that they don't seem to do the maintenance and the cleaning is a wipe over.

Some people would find something wrong with a lottery win!!!

I live 3 minutes walk from what will be the Tune Hotel (actually the old headquarters of the Lambeth Building Society!).

They're being a bit naughty by describing it as Westminster as it's just south of the river on the other side of Westminster Bridge near Waterloo Station - but it's really convenient. The Imperial War Museum, London Eye and Big Ben are all around a 5-10 minute gentle stroll away and Lambeth North tube station on the Bakerloo Line is just over the road with quick and easy access to Oxford Circus for Oxford Street and Regent Street shops. There's plenty of 24 hour buses too and also a big bike rack for the London Cycle Hire scheme that starts this summer going in by the tube station too if you fancy seeing London by bike.

It's an excellent location (well I would say that !) :)
