Bidder bid by mistake

We did cancel the bids in the end, my husband called ebay and they said thay if we let it run and opened a NPD the buyer would win as she emailed in advance to let us know that she could not pay for the items. Ebay said 10 hours was enough time for us to cancel her bids and allow the auction to finish. Seems a little unfair but i'm glad that we no longer have the hassle of the whole thing. I have blocked her from both the accounts so she doesn't bid on any more of my items.:heart2:My gorjus twinnies are 2 years old:heart2:

But there's nothing to 'win' in a NPB case, they either pay or they don't, it's not like a dispute.0 -
Sorry I meant that she wouldn't gain a strike and would be able to leave me negative feedback.:heart2:My gorjus twinnies are 2 years old:heart2:

I didn't know that, I thought an UID resulted in either the buyer paying or them being issued a strike. I didn't think there any middle ground. Is this right?0 -

The buyer can respond to the disptue and still not pay and then they can leave feedback. If a buyer does not repond to the dispute and it is closed then they cannot leave feedback.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
