Just got a Nokia 6700 but for some reason the phone is only working in offline mode. Spoke with 02 who went through everything with me like taking out sim and wiping it etc. I have also gone into settings and tried switching offline mode off but nothing happens.
Read intructions and it says that I may need unlock code??? What is this and where do I get it?
Does anyone have any ideas please as I am going abroad first thing in morning and desperately need my phone.

Is it second hand or new?
Was it purchased with another network sim card - i.e. not o2?
PS Try Tools->Settings->Network->Operator and select the right operator.0
