re the instruction booklets (one of the MANY items on your list)
I keep all mine in a box file (some are quite 'intense' reading) which is separe from my important papers filing cabinet.
I do this too... and every so often I go through and cull all the booklets from items that I no longer have :o

    Hi Ladies,

I have done very little today - I sat in the sun, put a wash on, made lunch (sandwiches & fruit salad :) ) played games in the garden with little one, went to uncles for family dinner and drank pear cider in the garden.

Thanks for all your messages of support, but honestly Toots, I am not even nearly as fit as I should be - it was very very very difficult. I am so physically and mentally drained I cannot even explain it to you. I will be much fitter before I ever do anything like this ever again! I ache in places I never thought possible and I am struggling to structure sentences, and am losing my voice - thats how drained I am! lol :rotfl:

Im in again this week too in a fashion. Sometimes lurking, sometimes posting, but always flying.

Loads of love n hugs to all,

    Jo xx

    I'm in again

Level ones and a HHI everyday if poss - really want to get the ironing mountain clear by Fri - and anything else I can manage this week in preparation for friend's visit - hence the frantic spare room cleaning this weekend.

Hope everyone has a good week. Thanks as ever to flylady central.

After several weeks of letting things get chaotic, this weekend has resulted in a LOT of tidying and some level 1 cleaning. So the house is fairly respectable, with most things put away where they should be, floors hoovered and dead flies etc. removed from window sills. Washing up is done and kitchen surfaces are clear - even the table is ALMOST clear... Bathroom is not as clean as pigpen's, but not too bad.

So this week, I need to try to maintain it. Hopefully it will be helped by the fact that I'm in the office on Tuesday and travelling Wednesday and Thursday for work, so will hardly be here to make any mess!

Even my study isn't too disastrous, which is good, as I may actually have to let someone in tomorrow. My bedroom is tidy, although very, very dusty, so needs a good blitz soon. At least all my clothes are finally shoved away...

Ironing basket needs dealing with, as I'm not sure what's in there, but I'm sure i'll find out when I need stuff!

Giant spider living behind the corner cupboard in the sitting room :( and I failed to get it with the hoover as it obviously saw me first... so I'll need to blitz the rest of the room moving furniture etc and then decide what else I can do. Otherwise I'll just avoid the room for months :o

Call me [STRIKE]anal[/STRIKE] organised :) but I have all my receipts in an envelope. Mighty useful for my current insurance claim :T
Ours are all filed...anally I am sure (DH's dept)

We also have some excellent clever free password software...will ask what it is when I have a minute.

May have overdone it today...service this morning, then lunch at the inlaws followed by a church thing this eve. My 4 day weekend is over :( but I don't want to go to bed and hasten Monday along!

I did change the bed and the towels, but we didn't get around to the hoovering as dh has been a bit under the weather and it's not my job these days!
