[flicks over to read this week's virtual Fly Paper :D]

DD2 is off until Friday :( / :D (yes, I'm feeling conflicted about this), so I should be able to get something done for a change.

LL, make sure you let us know what acts you are planning to see on the main stages, so we can look out for you on telly! (and get very, very jealous :D)

Monday - Kitchen and Dining Room
    Level One
    Clear and wipe kitchen surfaces
Empty the Pan cupboard!! Sort those oven trays, tighten handles on pans.

    Level Two
    Sweep and mop floors
Sort fridge bringing what needs using soon to the front, clean out any spills or grots in there!
Wipe dining table.. (clean table cloth if necessary)

    Level Three
Dust any extra furniture in dining area, checking for cobwebs on way round.. lightshades need doing!
Wipe and replace all those small appliances.. kettle, toaster etc
    Oven and hob degrotting!
Clean cupboard door fronts and fronts of appliances .. don't forget those kick boards..

    Extras
Wipe window sills and clean windows in these rooms, and any other glass!
    Dust/clean/wash any blinds or curtains
HHI .. bit of a catch up!!
Sort your drawer of large cutlery things.. slotted spoons, spatulas.. clean out the drawer, flin the things you don't need/use and make it all neat and tidy!

    Possibly doable...

    ETA: ARRRRRGGGGGGHHHHH!

DD2 at computer: Can I download some stuff off iTunes for the coach tomorrow?

Me: Yep, stick it in your wish list and I'll enter my password when you're done.

DD2: Nah, don't bother, your password's *********, but I'll wait until you've checked what I want before downloading.

    Me: _pale__pale__pale__pale__pale__pale__pale__pale_

I'm in this week. Thanks for the lists flylady gang. Got a busy one coming up so not sure how much I'll get done:

    Monday, Tuesday: Work

Wednesday: DD2's optician's appointment...she's got to have glasses to help correct her squint and I think her eyesight is not that great anyway, so we'll see how bad it is.

    Thursday: DD2's preschool injections.

Friday: Smear test for me then haircut and colour...half price as my friend gave me a 50% off voucher last week!:money:

So poor DD2's not got a great week ahead of her. We're trying to get her excited about getting glasses though and it seems to be working. Not sure she's going to like the eye drops she's got to have which I believe sting. Think a big bag of choclate buttons might help though. Not what she usually has at 9.30am but I think she'll need them! We've not mentioned the injections yet...DD1's were awful...she screamed 'get off me' so loud someone else came in to see what was going on and I ended up crying too (was 6 months pregnant at the time and very hormonal and tearful).

But judging by today I don't think this week's going to be much better though.:(

    IN! Thanks all :)

This week I have an assignment to complete and I have an all day conference on Thursday so not too bad. We do have an event next weekend to get organised for too.

DPs Dad just offered to look after our pooch when we go to France, saving us £200 :D So I am really pleased. He's an ex dog handler and has promised not to be mean with him haha...he's actually quite good just very nervous.

Anyway next week is mission clear the decks, need to shift some clutter (not good start when I just took 2 sacks of books from FILs house...Doh) get the kitchen more organised and general clearing as I need to get the carpets washed before the summer hols start.
One day I might be more organised...........
    GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb
  • :o I promise to do better this week. I just seem to be running on empty. Oh well onward and upwards

re the instruction booklets (one of the MANY items on your list)
I keep all mine in a box file (some are quite 'intense' reading) which is separe from my important papers filing cabinet.

AND THIS IS A VERY USEFUL TIP FOR ALL FLYLADIES
I STAPLE the receipts for large valuable items to the inside of the relevant instruction book - evidence for all those 1 year guarantees...
and IF you add your SERIAL Number too you have extra evidence for insurance/police, should you need it!

(but I don't do that because I CBA)

JoJTTF - my password's asterisks, too :rotfl:

I get to meet my new class for September tomorrow
